Protect You and Your Family.
Chemical pesticides are potentially harmful to our health. In 2010, researchers found that children with above average urine levels of a chemical found in commercially grown produce were more likely to suffer from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). A 2009 study found that children diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia were more likely to have high levels of pesticide byproducts from common pesticides used around the home. With Dr. Ben's Personal Insect Repellant, you can protect your family from insect born diseases without worrying about pesticide side effects.

Protect Your Pets.
For pets this helps keep dogs and cats insect and toxin free. This all natural cedar oil formula is a bio-influenced topical insect control and skin rejuvenation solution. It does not enter your pet's system in order to be effective. Spray this formula on animal skin/coat to neutralize and repel fleas, ticks, mites, mange, lice, mange mites, ear mites and other flying or biting insects on contact. Soothes irritated skin and provides symptomatic relief from effects of flea dermatitis, dry flaky skin, hot spots, mange, burrowing mange mites, ear mites and other parasitic related ailments. Antimicrobial properties of cedar oil will hasten the natural healing process for yeast and bacterial infections of the ear canal. Skin rejuvenation qualities of cedar oil assist your pet's natural healing process for skin damage associated with insects. Helps promote hair re-growth.

1st time application for pets:
A suggested procedure that is especially useful when caring for cats.
On occasion, pet owners have reported a phenomenon that could signal a particular pet's sensitivity to the presence of cedar oil. As a precautionary measure, the following agenda for first use with pets is recommended:

Begin with application to lower parts of the body such as paws and/or legs. Gradually work your way up your pet's body by applying in sections. Allow time between each section to observe your pet's behavior. For example, you may start with application to paws and legs, when comfortable add to belly areas, again when comfortable add to upper back and finally, you may wish to apply to facial areas. Always avoid contact with eyes. Spray the formula into palm of your hand and rub onto pet's face whenever facial application is desired. Work all of the above to a time schedule such that you feel assured that your pet is comfortable with the presence of cedar oil. We recommend using the above procedure for a day or two.

Signs of possible objection may begin with excessive grooming. All pets groom. Cats in particular have been reported to groom in an apparent attempt to remove cedar oil. During the grooming process, your pet may overly ingest the formula and could develop an upset stomach. Some pet owners have reported noticing a lethargic appearance in their pet after ingesting the solution. Others have observed their pet regurgitate a white foamy substance. Cat owners in particular have reported more susceptibility to these signs of objection. If observed with your pet, rinse the formula from applied areas and discontinue use. Make sure your pet has plenty of fresh water available to drink.

People and Pet users have reported the above could simply be a process of an individual pet becoming accustomed to the presence of cedar oil. Some have ultimately had success with subsequent use of the formula. You know your pet best. Use of any insect control product should be performed at the sole discretion of the individual pet owner.

How to treat with DG People and Pet cedar oil for existing flea, tick or mite infestations:
This treatment agenda will neutralize and remove localized parasitic activity helping to heal damaged skin.
Concentrate heavy spray applications to all affected areas or hot spots. Apply at least 3 times or more daily depending on your individual results. Do not rinse. Anti microbial properties of cedar oil will naturally stimulate your pet's defenses to repair damaged skin. Promotes hair re-growth.

Note: DG People and Pet cedar oil aroma in large concentration could become overwhelming. Heavy applications should be performed in well ventilated areas to avoid discomfort for you or your pet.

How to treat with DG People and Pet cedar oil for ear mites or other insect related problems of the ears:
Applications of People and Pet in the ear will help neutralize ear mites and chronic fungal organism issues. Be sure you familiarize yourself with cautionary procedures when dealing with ears. There are many reputable articles available on the internet with good advice regarding animal ear care procedure. We encourage you to do a little research regarding acceptable methods and tools for caring for your pet's ears.

If you suspect a recurring source of fleas, ticks or mites may be existing outdoors during your pet's ordinary routine, be sure to check the related products tab on this page for cedar oil insect control recommendations that are designed specifically for outdoor use.
