1st time applications using cedar oil on pets.
  • The following is especially useful when caring for cats, but we recommend first time for all pets.
  • Cat owners have reported a rare but noteworthy situation that suggests some pets have greater sensitivity to the presence of cedar oil than others. As such, we suggest the following steps for first use with dogs and cats.
  • Begin with application to lower parts of the body such as paws and/or legs. Gradually work your way up your pet's body by applying in sections . Allow time between treating each section to observe your pet's behavior. For example, you may start with application to paws and legs, when comfortable add to underbelly areas. Again, when comfortable with continuing, add application to upper back. Finally, you may wish to apply to facial areas as needed. Always avoid contact with eyes. Spray the formula into palm of your hand and message onto pet's face whenever desired. We suggest allowing time between sections to observe your pet.
  • One signs of possible objection may be overly excessive grooming. All pets groom. Cats in particular have been reported to groom in an apparent attempt to remove cedar oil. During the grooming process, your pet may overly ingest the formula and could develop an upset stomach or lethargic appearance. Cat owners in particular have reported more susceptibility to objecting to cedar oil. If you feel your pet is overly uncomfortable, rinse the formula from applied areas and discontinue use. Make sure your pet has plenty of fresh water available to drink.
  • Some have reported the above could simply be a process of an individual pet becoming accustomed to cedar oil and have ultimately had success with subsequent use of the formula. You know your pet best. Continued use should be performed at the sole discretion of the individual pet owner.
How to treat with Personal and Pet for existing flea, tick or mite infestations:
  • Personal and Pet helps reduce intense insect activity helping your pet to naturally heal damaged skin.
  • Concentrate heavy spray applications to all affected areas or "hot spots". Apply at least 3 times or more daily depending on your individual results. Do not rinse.
  • Note: Cedar oil aroma in large concentration could become overwhelming to pet and persons applying to pet. Heavy applications should be performed in well ventilated areas to avoid discomfort during applications of this type.

Personal and Pet Notifications:

  • Ready-to-Use Formula - do not dilute.
  • Do Not apply mist near any open flame. Extinguish all pilot lights near treatment areas.
  • Not intended for internal consumption or for use with plant life. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Safe to apply on human skin unless you are sensitive to wood oil allergies. Always avoid direct contact with eyes.
  • If facial application is desired, spray into palms of hands then message onto areas of face as desired while avoiding eyes.
  • Do Not Use on or spray around pet reptiles, pet rabbits, pet mice, pet rats, pet ferrets, pet guinea pigs, or exotic pet birds.
